NL Kellys Pub v. DC 3 Cheers in Sr. Canadians Finale

With five days of competition in the books, the 2014 Sr. Canadians has whittled the field down to the final two. NL Kellys Pub will vace DC 3 Cheers at 3pm PEI time today, with the game available on live video stream.

DC 3 Cheers are aiming for a third straight title, but one thing is for sure – the 2014 Sr. Canadian Champion will hail from Newfoundland.

DC 3 Cheers sealed their trip to the finals with a win last night with a 10-0 waxing of Host Fawcetts 10-0, with DC’s Sean Cleary tossing a 2 hit shutout, striking out 12 and walking 2.

In the semi-final, Host Fawcetts fought to stay alive and get back to the championship game, but ran into another fine pitching performance by their opponent.

NL Kellys Pub cruised to a 7-0 win this morning over the Host Fawcetts team of Charlottetown PEI. Robbie Greene of NL Kellys tossed a shutouts, surrendering just two hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. The NL Kellys Pub offense scored their 7 runs with two crooked numbers, 4 in the 4th and 3 more in the 6th.
