From ISC Canada East
With the conclusion of the Ontario Challenge Cup and the awarding of the Laverne Reichert Memorial Trophy to Shakespeare Falcons, the 2014 fastball season comes to a close for ISC Canada East.
We want to thank our host committee lead by Darrell and Alisha Anderson and the Ohsweken Redmen and the Six Nations Parks grounds crew. Fantastic job getting us going again after a brief rain delay Saturday morning!
Our Blue Crew this weekend was led by UiC Ed Otterman and consisted of Mike Brito, Moe Carde, Trevor Topping, Rob Straetmans, Matt Coombe, George Lamaiche, Fred Malatches and Jay “Hollywood” Hart. As always, the group did great work all weekend.
We want to thank ISC Statistician Gary Baughman and webmaster Al Doran for their work and support all weekend. Congrats to Tim Dubois who won the Batting Triple Crown for those who had more than 10 ABs, batting .563 with 3 HRs and 7 RBIs.
Last and most, we thank all of the teams, players and fans who support our events. We do it for you and we couldn’t do it without you.
