“Young New Zealand baseballers have been getting some Major League coaching, thanks to visiting Milwaukee Brewers manager Ron Roenicke.
“You’ve got great athletes here,” Roenicke said of New Zealand.
“You’ve got world-class softball players, probably the best rugby team in the world, and so I think with the good athletes and if people can get interested in baseball, and start playing it for a few years, down the road I’m hoping that I see a few in the Major Leagues with us.”
