Sean Cleary, from Harbour Main, was MVP in the St. John’s senior softball league’s regular season and playoffs, and in the provincial championships. At nationals, Cleary helped Newfoundland to a third-straight title and was the playoff MVP. He was also part of Team Canada’s bronze medal-winning team at the Pan Am Championships and late in the year was named to the national team pool for 2015. He was chosen as Softball Newfoundland and Labrador’s senior male player of the year.
