Kingston defeated Bar on the Avenue easily, 9-0, pounding out 10 hits, scoring four runs in the fifth and five more in the sixth for the run rule victory. Mitch Hardy tossed a no-hitter for Kingston.
The Wiarton Nationals won their winners bracket semifinal, 4-1 over Tin Cup from St. Paul Minnesota. Wiarton’s Travis Jones picked up the win going the distance, scattering five hits while striking out five.
