Two of the four spots in the Winner’s Bracket Final Four are set, the with the defending champion Hill United Chiefs and California’s J & B Painting winning their quarterfinal games last night.

The early contest at 6:30 PM will feature the A1 Bombers against the Bloomington Stix. The Bombers defeated the Kitchener Cubs in their last game, while the Bloomington Stix turned heads by knocking off the # 2 team in the world, the Kitchener Hallman Twins, who were runners up in last year’s tournament. The A1 Bombers entered the tournament as the # 7 ranked team in the world, while the Bloomington Stix were ranked # 16.
The nightcap at 8:30 PM will feature the New York Gremlins against PA Power. The Gremlins won a close one the other night in extra innings against the Topeka Toros, while PA Power dispatched the Kegel Black Knights to the Losers Bracket. The Gremlins came into the tournament as the # 3 ranked team in the world, while PA Power was ranked # 6.
