Hill United Chiefs defeated Bloomington Stix, Bloomington, Illinois 12-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Pablo Migliavacca induced a groundout from Reilly Makea to finish off the game.

An early lead helped propel Hill United Chiefs to victory. Hill United Chiefs scored on a single by Shane Boland, a single by Jason Hill, a single by James Todhunter, and a home run in the first inning.

Hill United Chiefs captured the lead in the first inning. Boland singled on a 1-1 count in the first inning, scoring one run.

A single by Peter Wards in the first inning was a positive for Bloomington Stix, Bloomington, Illinois.

Adam Folkard earned the win for Hill United Chiefs. He tossed three innings, surrendering zero runs, one hit, and striking out six. Jeff Farion took the loss for Bloomington Stix, Bloomington, Illinois. He pitched one inning, allowing seven runs, five hits, striking out one, and walking one.

Home runs for Hill United Chiefs came when Bradley Ezekiel homered in the third inning, Jason Sanford homered in the third inning, Ben Wideman homered in the first inning, and Nico Carrilhomered in the second inning.
