Huemul Mata Drives in game’s only run against older brother Lucas Mata

Sean Cleary threw a perfect game on Tuesday to lead Can-Am Twins past A1 Power 1-0.  Cleary struck out Heinlein to end the game.

Can-Am Twins finished the game in dramatic fashion thanks to a walk-off single by Huemul Mata, one of only two hits in the game by either side.   The hit came against older brother, Lucas Mata, who went the distance for A1 Power.

Brandon Horn scored the winning run, reaching base on a walk, and was sacrificed to second by Juan Zara before scoring the game winner.

Sean Cleary earned the win for Can-Am Twins. He tossed seven innings, allowing zero runs, zero hits, striking out 15, and walking zero. Lucas Mata took the loss for A1 Power. He pitched six and a third innings, allowing one run, two hits, and striking out 11.

Huemul Mata and Juan Cruz Zara each managed one hit to lead Can-Am Twins. Can-Am Twins was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Jeff Nowaczyk made the most plays with 15.

A1 Power was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Pinto had the most chances in the field with 12.
