From Game Changer
The ISC World Tournament championship game was tied at one with NY Gremlins batting in the bottom of the fourth when Ladlisao Malarczuk hit a solo homer. It was a lead they would not relinquish, and one punctuated by a walk-off two-run home run by Matt Palazzo for the 8-1 six inning win.
NY Gremlins pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Malarczuk hit a solo homer and Nick Mullins hit a solo homer.
NY Gremlins scored three runs in the fifth inning. Malarczuk and Zenon Winters each had RBIs in the frame.
Andrew Kirkpatrick got the win for NY Gremlins. He allowed six hits and one run over six innings, striking out 13.
Roman Godoy took the loss for Circle Tap. He allowed four hits and two runs over three innings, striking out two.
NY Gremlins socked four home runs on the day. Bryan Abrey went for the long ball in the second inning. Matt Palazzo had a four bagger in the sixth inning. Malarczuk went deep in the fourth inning. Mullins put one out in the fourth inning.
NY Gremlins tallied nine hits on the day. Abrey and Malarczuk each managed multiple hits for NY Gremlins. Malarczuk and Abrey each managed two hits to lead NY Gremlins. NY Gremlinswas sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Mullins had the most chances in the field with 13.
Manny Godoy led Circle Tap with two hits in three at bats. Circle Tap was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Leo Latasa made the most plays with five.
