New York Gremlins’s Early Lead Over Omma Tigres Sets Stage For Victory
New York Gremlins jumped out to an early lead over Omma Tigres and took home a 5-1 victory on Monday. New York Gremlins scored on a single by Jerome Raemaki, a walk by Wayne Laulu, a walk by Andrew Kirkpatrick, and a single by Nick Mullins in the first inning.
Kirkpatrick earned the win for New York Gremlins. The hurler surrendered one run on three hits over seven innings, striking out seven.
Jaudiel Olaiz took the loss for Omma Tigres. Olaiz lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing five hits and five runs.
New York Gremlins saw the ball well today, racking up nine hits in the game. Mullins and Raemaki all collected multiple hits for New York Gremlins. Mullins led New York Gremlins with three hits in three at bats. New York Gremlins didn’t commit a single error in the field. Mullins had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
Alan Osuna went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Omma Tigres in hits.

The New York Gremlins advance to a Winner’s Bracket Final Four at 6pm against the winner of tonight’s contest between Hill United and AWP Lumberjacks. The Gremlins and Hill United at certainly no strangers, having met in championship games for the ISC World Title as well as the USA Softball Men’s Major, including this year’s title match. The Gremlins came away the winner of that one, just a week ago, scoring 3 runs in the last inning on an inside-the-park home run by Argentine Ladislao Malarczuk.
