Laulu’s Walk-Off Seals The Deal In New York Gremlins Victory Over Hill United Chiefs

A walk-off home run led New York Gremlins past Hill United Chiefs 6-5 on Wednesday. The game was tied at five with New York Gremlins batting in the bottom of the eighth when Wayne Laulu hit a solo homer.

Hill United Chiefs got things started in the second inning. Jason Hill hit a solo homer.

Hill United Chiefs evened things up at five in the top of the fifth inning. Bruno Motroni hit a solo homer.

New York Gremlins tallied four runs in the fourth inning. Bryan Abrey and Nick Mullins all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Josh Pettett led the New York Gremlins to victory in the pitcher’s circle. The pitcher went four innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out two.

Pablo Migliavacca took the loss for Hill United Chiefs. The bulldog surrendered one run on two hits over four innings, striking out three and walking one.

Devon McCullough started the game for Hill United Chiefs. The pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out three Andrew Kirkpatrick started the game for New York Gremlins. The bulldog allowed nine hits and four runs over four innings, striking out two and walking one

New York Gremlins hit three home runs on the day. Mullins went yard in the fourth inning. Laulu went deep in the second and eighth innings.

New York Gremlins tallied eight hits in the game. Laulu and Erick Ochoa each racked up multiple hits for New York Gremlins. Ochoa and Laulu each collected two hits to lead New York Gremlins. New York Gremlins was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Mullins made the most plays with seven.

Hill United Chiefs saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game. Motroni, Tony Gonzalez, Shane Boland, and Nico Carril each collected multiple hits for Hill United Chiefs. Motroni went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Hill United Chiefs in hits. Hill United Chiefs didn’t commit a single error in the field. Jeff Lyons had the most chances in the field with nine.

Kegel Black Knights Defeated By Kitchener Hallman Twins

Kegel Black Knights opened up scoring in the first inning. Juan Cruz Zara grounded out, scoring one run.

Kitchener Hallman Twins pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Huemul Mata hit a solo homer, Thomas Enoka singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs, and Reilly Makea singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Mata got the win for Kitchener Hallman Twins. The ace surrendered three runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out seven.

Roman Godoy took the loss for Kegel Black Knights. The pitcher allowed five hits and four runs over four innings, striking out seven.

Alan Peker went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Kegel Black Knights in hits.

Cam Schiller led Kitchener Hallman Twins with two hits in four at bats.
