New York Gremlins Takes Victory Over Kitchener Hallman Twins, 5-4

The pivotal moment in this game came in the bottom of the 4th inning for the Gremlins, when a 3-run shot by Zenon Winters turned a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 lead for the New York squad, a lead they would not surrender. Mathieu Roy added another run in that 4-run fourth inning for the Gremlins with an RBI single, which proved to be the difference in the game with Kitchener scoring 1 run in the 7th.

New York Gremlins wins contest against Kitchener Hallman Twins on Friday, 5-4

Kitchener Hallman Twins opened up scoring in the first inning, when Ryan Boland singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

New York Gremlins knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the first inning, when Wayne Laulu singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

New York Gremlins pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Zenon Winters homered on a 0-1 count, scoring three runs and Mathieu Roy singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Andrew Kirkpatrick was the winning pitcher for New York Gremlins. Kirkpatrick surrendered three runs on five hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven. Josh Pettett threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Kirkpatrick recorded the last 14 outs to earn the save for New York Gremlins.

Huemul Mata took the loss for Kitchener Hallman Twins. The hurler allowed 11 hits and five runs over six innings, striking out seven.

New York Gremlins tallied one home run on the day. Winters had a four bagger in the fourth inning.

New York Gremlins totaled 11 hits. Roy and Erick Ochoa all managed multiple hits for New York Gremlins. Roy led New York Gremlins with three hits in four at bats. New York Gremlins didn’t commit a single error in the field. Bryan Abrey had the most chances in the field with ten.

Kitchener Hallman Twins had nine hits in the game. Boland, Cam Schiller, and Thomas Enoka each had multiple hits for Kitchener Hallman Twins. Kitchener Hallman Twins didn’t commit a single error in the field. Boland had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.

Hill United Chiefs Downs Kegel Black Knights, 6-2

Back in the day, the “M&M” Boys were Maris and Mantle. Friday, it was Motroni and Mullaley for Hill United, with each driving in three runs, accounting for all of their team’s RBI.

Hill United Chiefs took home a 6-2 victory over Kegel Black Knights on Friday.

Hill United Chiefs got on the board in the first inning when Bruno Motroni singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Hill United Chiefs put up three runs in the fifth inning. Hill United Chiefs put the pressure on, lead by a single by Motroni and a home run by Steve Mullaley.

Patrick Burns pitched Hill United Chiefs to victory. The bulldog lasted three and a third innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out six and walking one. Devon McCullough threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Roman Godoy took the loss for Kegel Black Knights. The bulldog lasted three innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out five and walking one.

Pablo Migliavacca started the game for Hill United Chiefs. The fireballer went three innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out four and walking one

Hill United Chiefs smacked one home run on the day. Mullaley went for the long ball in the fifth inning.

Hill United Chiefs collected eight hits. Motroni and Mullaley all collected multiple hits for Hill United Chiefs. Motroni went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Hill United Chiefs in hits.

Kegel Black Knights didn’t commit a single error in the field. Juan Cruz Zara had the most chances in the field with ten.
