Hill United Chiefs beat Kitchener Hallman Twins 7-3 on Saturday.
Hill United Chiefs fired up the offense in the second inning, when Tony Gonzalez hit a solo homer.
Hill United Chiefs took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth an error scored one run for Hill United Chiefs and Brett Larson drew a walk, scoring one run.
Hill United Chiefs tallied four runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught came from a single by Bruno Motroni, by Gonzalez, and an error on a ball put in play by Steve Mullaley.
Devon McCullough was the winning pitcher for Hill United Chiefs. McCullough lasted four innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out seven. Patrick Burns threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
