The USA jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second, with Matt Ratliff singling home a run, and then scoring a second on a sacrifice fly to shallow right center field for a second run. Canada trimmed the lead in third, scoring one run on an error.

- USA Men’s National Team got things moving in the second inning, when Matthew Ratliff singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
- In the bottom of the fifth inning, Team Canada MNT tied things up at two. Derek Mayson hit a solo homer.
- Devon McCullough was credited with the victory for Team Canada MNT. McCullough surrendered zero runs on one hit over two and a third innings, striking out five and walking zero.
- Brad Kilpatrick took the loss for USA Men’s National Team. The bulldog allowed five hits and four runs over six innings, striking out three.
