#2 ranked New York Gremlins stayed unbeaten in the ISC World Tournament on Wednesday night, with a 6-3 win over #7 ranked AWP Lumberjacks.
AWP jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second inning on a 2 run home run by Carlos Colmenares. The lead didn’t last long though, as the Gremlins scored two of their own in the bottom of the second, on a 2-run homer by the 9th batter in the order, Nick Mullins. The Gremlins won the game on the strength of a 4 run 4th, and complete game performance by lefty Andrew Kirkpatrick. The big blow for the Gremlins in the 4th was a bases clearing double by Jerone Raemaki. Kirkpatrick tossed a 3 hitter, striking out 12. Nik Hayes took the loss for the Lumberjacks. The Gremlins advance to the Winner’s Bracket Final Four and will face California JB in the nightcap Thursday night at 8PM local time.

AWP Lumberjacks fired up the offense in the second inning. AWP Lumberjacks scored two runs when Carlos Colmenares homered.
In the bottom of the second inning, NY Gremlins tied things up at two. Nick Mullins homered on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
NY Gremlins pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Zenon Winters hit a solo homer and Jerome Raemaki doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.
Andrew Kirkpatrick took the win for NY Gremlins. The bulldog lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out 12.
Nik Hayes took the loss for AWP Lumberjacks. Hayes allowed three hits and six runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four.
NY Gremlins socked two home runs on the day. Mullins went yard in the second inning. Winters went deep in the fourth inning.
Raemaki, Erick Ochoa, Mullins, Bryan Abrey, and Winters each managed one hit to lead NY Gremlins.
