Elite Eight to World Cup 2025 – July 8-13, 2025
Six teams emerged from the World Cup Qualifiers, Groups A, B and C, plus host Canada (coincidentally 3rd in Group B), with Wild Card Venezuela the last team added on the strength of their #5 world ranking and third place finish in Group A, and their where they went 5-0 in pool play, only to lose two on the final day of the tournament.

- New Zealand (Group B, 2nd Place)
- USA (Group C, 1st Place)
- Japan (Group C, 2nd Place)
- Canada (Host)
- Venezuela (Wild Card, Group A, 3rd Place)
Defending World Champions, Australia (Gold, 2022) lost their first game of the Group A qualifier, but battled back, winning the Repechage game against Venezuela to claim the second World Cup berth for Group A
The Dominican Republic is the only team not in the Top 10 (#11) to make the Elite Eight of the World’s best in next year’s World Cup at Prince Albert, Canada.
The Czech Republic is the highest ranked team (#7) not to make the field, while #9 Mexico, #10 ranked Cuba and #12 ranked Guatemala also did not qualify.
