MILAN, Italy — The U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) has arrived in Milan, Italy ahead of the 2025 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup, set to take place June 27 – July 5. The Eagles earned their spot in the 2025 World Cup following a dominant gold medal finish at the Pan American Championship earlier this year in Acapulco, Mexico.
With nine of the top 10 teams in the WBSC Women’s Softball World Rankings set to compete, Team USA will face strong international competition as they aim to bring home another gold medal for the United States after earning the world title in 2023. Taking place in Legnano and Caronno Pertusella, Italy, the tournament features 12 teams divided into two groups — with the United States competing in Group B alongside Australia, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Czech Republic, and Singapore, while American Samoa, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Spain will battle it out in Group A. The Red, White and Blue will open the tournament on Friday, June 27 against Chinese Taipei at 3 p.m. CEST (8 a.m. CT) following a series of scheduled practices.
Fans can keep up with the excitement through the WBSC’s exclusive online GameTime video platform live stream day passes can be purchased for $9.99 and tournament passes can be purchased for $14.99. Live stats will also be provided via GameChanger.
