BOLAND Powers HILL UNITED CHIEFS Past Bear Creek Express

SHANE BOLAND hit two home runs and drove in three as HILL UNITED CHIEFS defeated Bear Creek Express 10-0 on Saturday at G62 D2 W61 vs. W59. SHANE BOLAND homered in the second and first innings.
HILL UNITED CHIEFS opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to two home runs. HILL UNITED CHIEFS first got on the board when SHANE BOLAND hit a solo home run to left field.
HILL UNITED CHIEFS added three more runs in the bottom of the second inning on three hits. SHANE BOLAND homered to center field, scoring two runs, and TONY GONZALEZ singled, scoring one run.
HILL UNITED CHIEFS added to their lead with three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning thanks to home runs by BRADLEY EZEKIEL and LENNY VILLALVAZO.
MARCO DIAZ earned the win for HILL UNITED CHIEFS. The starter gave up one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out six and walking one. Ty Sebastian took the loss for Bear Creek Express. The hurler went one and one-third innings, surrendering six runs on four hits, striking out one and walking two.
TONY GONZALEZ drove the middle of the lineup, leading HILL UNITED CHIEFS with four runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. LENNY VILLALVAZO went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead HILL UNITED CHIEFS in hits. BRADLEY EZEKIEL paced HILL UNITED CHIEFS with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing four walks for the game.
Luiger Pinto went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Bear Creek Express in hits. Bear Creek Express didn’t commit a single error in the field. Luiger Pinto had the most chances in the field with four.
