Hall of Fame banquet
The Greater San Joaquin Softball Association will hold its Hall of Fame banquet and awards ceremony at 6 p.m. Saturday at Jackson Hall on the Lodi Grape Festival grounds. This year’s inductees are Michael Banda (umpire), and players Jack Vernon, Kaila Shull, Korey Krueg and Doug Streeter. Also honored will be the National Tournament umpires, the Stockton Sports Commission and the 2010 GSJSA national champions. The cost is $25.
