The brackets are now available for the Las Vegas Road Trip IV on the SCIFL web site www.scifastpitch.com. Thirty teams from 11 States and 2 Countries will compete in the three divisions over the two days. Returning champs from last years tournament, Sta. Cecilla, El Paso Steel and the Caribbeans, are all playing again this year.
The AA/AA-Major and the A divisions will play in the traditional NAFA 3-game guarantee bracket to determine the winner and paid berths to the NAFA World Series in Rockford, IL in August. The AA/AA-Major division has 12 teams and the A has 14. In the A-Major division the teams will play in a 3-game round robin followed by single elimination due to only 4 teams being in the bracket and to give teams an extra game.
Games will begin on Saturday morning at 8:00AM and continue through the day with the Championship games scheduled for the AA/AA-Major and A divisions at 3:00PM and the A-Major Championship scheduled for 1:!5PM. Brackets will be updated as time permits over the tournament weekend on the SCIFL website.

One month before the fourth edition of the Las Vegas Road Trip and its looking to be a great tournament with 29 teams reserving sports to play. As we lost the 4 diamond complex on Friday, the tournament will be limited to 30 teams. I have room to add one more team and after that teams will go on a waiting list. As a reminder, the rooms at Arizona Charlie’s are being held until March 11th. After that, any rooms still in the block will be released back to their general reservations and rooms can be reserved at the going rate.
