The second and final weekend of the XII Argentine will be held in Parana, Argentina with games today, March 4 through Wednesday, March8, 2011). Last weekend, competition in the “Ascenso” (“B”) division was held, along with the “Promocion” (“C”) Division.
This weekend will see competition in the other two divisions, Campeonato (Division A) and Estimulo: (Division D).

Duilio Martín Scialacomo and Cristian Lacout (pictured at right) are among the leaders responsible for the continued growth of men’s fastpitch in Argentina.
Cristian Lacout (at right in photo) operates “Softbol Radio“, the Spanish language partner of Ballparkradio, which produced the first ever Spanish language broadcasts of the ISC World Tournament last summer.

In addition to helping organize and run the Argentine National Championships, Duilio Martín Scialacomo (at left in photo) hosts a website for the region, CPEF5 Softbol Blog (ARG), did color commentary on Softbol Radio, and will be part of the leadership for the Argentine Jr. Men’s team that will be traveling to California this summer.
