Peter Meredith, one of the most successful fastpitch softball pitchers of all time will be in LaCrosse, Wisconsin on March 26th and March 27th to conduct a series of one-hour pitching clinics.
Longtime men’s fastpitch enthusiast and promoter, Bud Olson has announced that the legendary righthander has agree to travel to LaCrosse to do the clinics. “We offering one-hour time slots with one of the greatest pitchers of all time.” said Olson. “This is an extraordinary opportunity to gain some knowledge from one of the most successful pitcher in International Softball Congress history.
Meredith is a member of the International Softball Congress Hall of Fame (inducted in 2007 in Kitchener, Ontario). He pitched in the most noteable fastpitch softball game of all time when he pitched a 34-inning game during the 1981 ISC World Tournament in Saginaw, Michigan. He and another ISC Hall of Famer, Peter Finn hooked up in that famous 2-1 game where 108 batters struck out.

Editor’s note: Bob Tomlinson, is of course, the editor of the Fastpitch Chronicle, the most widely read fastpitch newspaper in the world during the 1980’s and beyond. Bob is a member of the ISC Hall of Fame, inducted on the same day as Peter Meredith, along with Tim Wahl, Lloyd Simpson and Larry Lynch. He was also inducted into the Wisconsin ASA Hall of Fame as a third baseman as a result of his playing days and inducted last year into the Wisconsin High School Fastpitch Coaches Hall of Fame.
