“We had Black Sox squad training that night so I thought he [Black Sox manager, Doug Golightly] was checking up to see how things were going with that,” Raemaki said.
However, last week’s call from Golightly was to tell Raemaki, 16, that he had made the team for the June-July North America tour.
“I was quite shocked,” Raemaki said.
However, he was not the only one shocked to hear the news.
