It is with great remorse that I have to write this letter. After many hours of talk between Bob and myself, we have come to the conclusion that it is time to shutter the doors on the Silverhawks team playing at the open level of fastpitch. With increased expenses and lack of a sponsor the costs of running the team have become too much to keep the team in existence. The fundraising that Bob and myself have been doing to keep the team going the past few years has taken a lot of time away from the family and it is time to sit back and enjoy watching the kids play ball. I appreciate all that you guys have done the past few years and the effort they put out on the field. I have made some good friends through this team the past few years and hope that we can keep in contact.
