Saskatoon opens its 2015 softball season with 51 teams

The Saskatoon Amateur Softball Association is proud to announce the opening of it’s 51st season. The first pitch will take place today at 1:00 at Bob Van Impe Stadium when the Saskatoon Pirates will take on the Flaman Kodiaks in Bob Van Impe Division play. This will be followed by games at 3, 5 and 7 PM.

The SASA is the largest adult Fastpitch Softball league in the country and will feature 51 teams in 3 ladies and 3 men’s’ divisions. The quality of play will be better than ever as it includes a number of national team and former national team players playing in the Keith McLean and Bob Stayner divisions.
