A-1 Bombers Softball Club pull out a very close game with a walk off win against the Bedford Rays.. Duane Weiler of the Bedford Rays pitched a fantastic game and held the bombers to 1 hit over 5 innings.. Tough loss for him but we have all the respect in the world for his performance. It was’t until the 6th with 2 outs that Freddy Carmona sparked us with a 2 out single up the middle.. Marshall Kronk up next hits a long HR to left to make it 4-2 Bedford. Mike Hoadley then went deep on his own for the Back to Back HRs.. Bombers couldn’t score again that inning. So it was 4-3 heading into the 7th.. Bombers get the 3 outs they need to set up the bottom of the 7th.. Gil Saenz leads off with a single then steals second.. Kristopher Walushka bunts him to 3rd and Kristen N Derrick Kennedy comes through in the clutch with a single to tie the game! After another single by Freddy the bombers get the win on s walk off pass ball with guy on 3rd scoring.. Bombers play again tonight at 7pm.. Win or go home time..
