I hate grammar/spelling nazis like everyone but seriously, how many times is Chiefs spelled wrong in this article? Sheesh.

Thanks for the note, Kevin. The answer is “too many” times. We have corrected it in our blog post.

The curse of copy and paste. The story was generated by the GameChanger scoring software. Appears that the algorithm needs spell check. That said, on balance, it’s pretty impressive software that can take the stats and generate a narrative story automatically. One other Fastpitchwest reader noted a story that mentioned the starting pitcher went “only 7 innings”, suggesting that the algorithm was set for baseball’s 9 inning games.

Spelling and accuracy is important to us, so to our readers, we invite emails regarding corrections required. jim [at] fastpitchwest.com

      Thank you.
