My son Ron played in Kamloops with the Brewers organization in the early eighties. It can’t be because of the lack of interest in softball or baseball. Ron told me stories of the morning rains that took them to the fishing holes which they claim to be the best in the World. The would then wait until the skies cleared and they would head to the Ball Park and play on the soggy field; then home for fish fries.
