Ballparkradio Broadcasts from the 2009 AAU International Tournament

Here is the Ballparkradio Broadcast Schedule for the upcoming AAU Tournament:


Friday, January 23, 2009, 5:00 pm EST – NY Gremlin Knights vs. Manor Dirt Bags, TX
Friday, January 23, 2009, 7:00 pm EST – Adco Tool Shed NY vs. Hill United, ON

Saturday, January 24, 2009 – TBA

Sunday – January 25, 2009 – 12noon – Semi-final (one of two, TBD)
Sunday – January 25, 2009 – 2pm – Championhip Game

To listen to the broadcasts, just go to the Ballparkradio website, www.ballparkradio.com and click the black “Click to Listen” button, then choose the link for the game you want to hear, turn on your speakers and sit back and enjoy the action. (or turn down the volume/don the headsets for those of you listening at work)

There are a few remaining time slots available. Teams wanting to have a game broadcast may sponsor a game, splitting the cost with their opponent. For further information, email Ballparkradio, jim (at) ballparkradio (dot) com for further details. Broadcast slots will be handled on a first come-first served basis.

The 10th annual AAU International Tournament will be held January 22-25, 2009 at the Disney complex in Orlando, Florida, hosting 40 teams from around the world. Selected games will be broadcast live on Ballparkradio.com

AAU Broadcast – Friday 7pm – Adco Tool Shed NY vs. Hill United ON

We are pleased to confirm one of the Ballparkradio Broadcasts for the upcoming AAU Tournament:

Friday, January 23, 2009, 7:00 pm EST – Adco Tool Shed NY vs. Hill United, ON

These two teams are in Pool B. Click here to view the Poll on Pool B.

One other Friday game are awaiting confirmation, with the playoff broadcasts on Saturday and Sunday to be determined.

2009 Silverhawks Invitational

The 2009 Silverhawks Invitational is filling up fast, with only room for 12 teams we are getting some strong feedback from top teams already committed.

RED ROCK is BACK!

Don’t miss your opportunity to attend the 2009 Red Rock at Carson City (RRCC) tournament.

Many teams have confirmed their attendance so the tournament is a go! This tournament is a perfect time to include a family vacation either before, during or after the event.

Carson City has many family attractions as well as casinos for action at night. Also, Reno is just a short drive away so the possibilities are endless.

FORMAT: Round Robin into single elimination.
GAMES GUARANTEED: Four (4)
ISC QUALIFIER: One (1) ISC World Tournament berth to the highest finishing US West team and one (1) ISC II (Tournament of Champions) berth to the highest finishing US West team are available.

We hear that it has been unseasonably cold in Orlando this past week, and the mercury will dip again this week, but the good news is that it’s forecast to warm up for the tournament, with temperatures for the weekend projected in the 70’s (farenheit).
